went out tdy to do project.
didn realli get much done tho.
o well...
tmr im goin back to HIHS to help in co campfire.
suddenly, im inspired by the life and words of Sir Winston Churchill.
he is an inspiration to all, esp when he leads Britain in their darkest moments during WW2.
and here are some of his inspirational speeches.
-"I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat".
-"we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender"
-"Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves, that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour'"
-Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few"
amd last but not least, his famous speech:"From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, an Iron Curtain has descended across the continent. Behind that line lie all the capitals of the ancient states of Central and Eastern Europe. Warsaw, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest and Sofia, all these famous cities and the populations around them lie in what I must call the Soviet sphere."
i hope he can continue to inspire me with all his works and his leadership.
so, this post is dedicated to Sir Winston Churchill (30th nov 1874 - 24th jan 1965)
